Since school, I've been...
Joined USAF after graduation. Served in North Africa, then Korea, and a short time in Vietnam then got out in 1966. Worked as a truck mechanic for McKee. In 1967 got marrried to former Dianne Stoney of Greenville, SC. Our daughter Michelle was born in 1968. In 1970 went to Florida to attend Aviation school and graduated with B.S. Attended University of Central Florida and earned Masters in Education. Taught small engine and Diesel at Daytona Beach Community College. In 1976 moved back to Collegedale and taught at Harrison Bay Vocational Center. In 1979 moved to Athens Georgia and attended University of Georgia receiving Doctorate Degree in Education. Taught at University of Georgia 3 years. In 1985 received call to go to Kenya as Missionary at University of Eastern Africa. Spent 6 years and came back in 91. Worked at Macon Technical College for 6 years then in 1998 moved to Blairsvile Georgia where I am currently employed at North Georgia Technical College. Plan on retiring here October 2009. |
